Stephen Lally

Website and motion graphics for director

I worked with video director Stephen Lally for the second time in 2013 to refresh a site I originally designed in 2009. Working with Stephen is always fun as he’s keen to push the art direction and has a clear vision.

I was working around a brief which spoke of surveillance, the 80s, VHS, darkness and electricity. The original logo I designed in 2009 was retained. After an extensive image manipulation and concept stage, I created a series of stylised video clips in After Effects from raw footage supplied, used as html5 background videos on the desktop site.

The site was developed using Wordpress and is managed by the client.
